Brunes sh.p.k has at its disposal the necessary information-technology means for processing the data of prospective customers and online purchases, and in this context it carries out the collection and processing of personal data in accordance with Law 9887, dated 10.03.2008 "On the Protection of Personal Data", as amended by Law No. 48/2012 and Law No. 120/2014, and the related sub-legal acts.
Privacy and the protection of personal data are matters of particular importance, and Brunes is committed to rigorously respecting the entire legal framework for their protection, in particular Law 9887 dated 10.03.2008 (as amended by Law No. 48/2012 and Law No. 120/2014) "On the Protection of Personal Data", as well as the relevant sub-legal acts and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the European law that governs the collection and processing of personal data of individuals within the EU.
In relation to the collection and processing of personal data, Brunes has complied with all preliminary formalities with the Commissioner for the Protection of Personal Data.
The main purpose of processing personal data is to ensure correct delivery of orders placed through the official Brunes online site, to improve service quality, to allow communication of information regarding placed orders and Brunes offers that may be of interest to the Customer, and to better meet their subsequent expectations. Brunes obtains the prior consent of the Customer regarding the communication of promotional offers to the Customer's personal phone number. The Customer has the right, at any time and free of charge, to refuse the communication of promotional offers from Brunes.
Personal data are stored by Brunes to ensure use of the online shopping service and may be disclosed to Brunes' business partners only with the prior consent of the Customer. Brunes reserves the right to transfer data only to its sub-contractors, who may be located inside or outside Albania, in compliance with the legislation in force regarding the transfer of personal data, and enters into contractual relations with such sub-contractors to guarantee the implementation of all security measures for the protection and confidentiality of personal data.
Brunes will retain the personal data of Customers who visit and carry out transactions on the official Brunes online site for a period of five years from the Customer's last visit, except in cases of disputes that may arise between the Customer and Brunes regarding the transactions carried out, for which the data-retention period may be extended.
Personal data are protected through the password you use to make online purchases. The Customer undertakes to always keep their password secret and confidential.
If the Customer believes or suspects that their account is at risk, they shall immediately notify Brunes.
